If your students are having difficulty hearing the instructor, or if the instructor cannot hear the students, try these troubleshooting steps before reaching out to our support team through FreshChat:

  • Click on Speaker Settings  and select Advanced Settings

  • Click on the dropdown under Microphone and select the USB* headset option

  • If you do not see the USB option, try unplugging and plugging the headset back into a new USB port or changing out the headset for a different one, or have the student at home follow those instructions. Refresh the session or have the student do so.

  • Click I’m good to go

  • If that doesn’t work, try changing the USB port or change the headset out for a different one, and refresh the session
